“Cooking with Friends” is one of my favorite activities. I love gathering in the kitchen with friends to share my cooking secrets. Recently, a good friend asked me to organize a cooking session for his wife’s birthday, with family and friends. Excited by the opportunity to teach and share my passion, I eagerly agreed and prepared for an enjoyable evening.

The entire event was a surprise for Lisa. Paul and their daughters were thrilled and secretly gathered Greek ingredients needed for our recipes. Our menu included Dolmadakia (stuffed vine leaves), Pork souvlakia with all the trimmings, tzatziki, tomatoes, onions with parsley, warm pita bread, and Semolina Halva for dessert, plus Lisa made a whole Pasticcio for the evening since she had no idea about the party.

Once I gave my instructions, everyone started cooking, while some chose to observe. We had a total of 15 people participating! It was such a fun night, where I got to meet new friends, enjoy the company of my good friends and travel companions, indulge in a delicious dinner, and make plans for our upcoming trip to Greece!

Happy Birthday, Lisa! Looking forward to the rest of the celebrations in Sitia very soon!

Best regards,

Tony
