And I am here to share it with you!!!

Furthermore, there are a lot of things happening in the New Year on my gastronomic visits both in Greece and the US that I like to share with you and so my new blog will help for this purpose.

To start the ball rolling I will tell you about an invitation I had at a chefs table organized by the Liakos brothers in the restaurant Basegrill in Peristeri-Athens. I loved this restaurant from day one, it is the best steakhouse in Athens offering the full packet a restaurant can offer, quality of food, execution, service, presentation!!!

I stand by the words of Vaggelis and Spyros, we became chefs for our own restaurant!!! They never stopped researching and developing their menu, looking for better products, always with respect to the local growers, promoting new products from small local producers and developing new concepts and ideas.

Today, with the Basegrill going as strong as ever before, the rest of their additions come to complete the picture of success, with, Cookoovaya, Travolta and their 3 new locations for Hoocut.

But the chef’s table had another new subject to talk about, 18 new cold meats, their own production and 3 new sausages. The selection and the uniqueness of flavors and taste were out of this world.

I will have more to tell you about the Liakos brothers in the near future as well as an episode on Hoocut concept, so stay tuned and if you in for good food, try any of their places and you will not be disappointed.
